Prof. Oğuzhan Zahmacıoğlu serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul. With continuous academic service since 2007 and administrative leadership since 2013, he teaches comprehensive graduate courses across psychiatric subspecialties.
His educational foundation includes:
- Medical Doctorate (1989-1996) from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (English Program)
- Specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2000-2005) at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine
Research focuses on vulnerable pediatric populations, particularly ADHD intervention strategies, technology-assisted mental health screening, and psychological sequelae of chronic medical conditions.
