Ozum Demir Caliskan

Ozum Demir Caliskan is an Assistant Professor of Creativity and Innovation at the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Business School, Imperial College London. She holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from University College London (UCL) and a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Industrial Design from Middle East Technical University (METU). Prior to her current role, she was a research fellow at Imperial supported by a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship. Her research explores creativity, innovation, and emerging technologies in settings like makerspaces, design studios, and tech companies, focusing on how new technologies reshape creative work and worker experiences.

Her work bridges design practice, organizational behavior, and human-computer interaction. Her research interests include design practice management, organizational behavior theory, and the sociological implications of technology-driven work environments. She has contributed to both academia and industry through her multidisciplinary approach, blending design, sociology, and management studies.
