Ozgur Aktunc is a Professor in the Department of Engineering at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas. He joined the university in 2009 and specializes in software engineering education, agile methodologies, and human-centered design.

Aktunc also authored the book An Entropy-Based Measurement Framework for Component-Based Systems.
