Dr. Onur Özsoy is a linguist specializing in heritage languages, multilingualism, and morphosyntax. Currently serving as Acting Professor at the University of Cologne and Postdoctoral Researcher in the BMBF-funded SPEAK project at the Leibniz Centre for General Linguistics (ZAS) in Berlin, he investigates morphosyntactic production/comprehension in Turkish heritage speakers across Germany and the USA, focusing on verbal aspect and nominal reference.
