Omowunmi Sadik

Omowunmi Sadik is a Distinguished Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), affiliated with the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Science and the Office of the Provost. Her research focuses on nanomaterials, environmental science, electrochemistry, and biosensors, with a strong emphasis on sustainable technologies and their applications in pollution control, water treatment, and health monitoring. She has led numerous federal grants, including projects on green nanomaterials, circular economy education, and paper-based biosensors for smallholder agriculture.
