Olivier CHERY is an Associate Professor at the École Nationale Supérieure de Génie des Systèmes Industriels (ENSGSI), where he serves as Head of the Master's IDEAS program and SD&RS Project Manager. His academic roles include teaching and research focused on sustainable development and industrial systems engineering.
Education:
- PhD in Process Engineering (1994, ENSIC/INPL)
- DEA in Process Engineering (1990, INPL)
- Expert Diploma in Prevention and Treatment of Nuisances (1990, Faculté des sciences et technique de Chambéry)
- Carbon Footprint Training (2015–2017–2022, Institut Français du Carbone)
Research Interests: Dr. CHERY’s work centers on integrating sustainable development criteria into early design processes, developing decision-support tools for managers to align systems with circular economy principles. His research in the ERPI laboratory addresses environmental impacts, industrial risk prevention, and climate change mitigation.
Teaching: He instructs courses on Environmental Management, Occupational Risk Prevention, Circular Economy frameworks, Air Pollution, and Hydraulic Systems.
Responsibilities: Leads the Innovation and Design (IDEAS) Master’s program and manages projects related to Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility.
