Olivia Wu is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Grenon School of Business, Assumption University. She holds a Ph.D. from Clark University, M.S. from University of Edinburgh, and B.S. from Beijing Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on international trade dynamics, export processing zones, and financial management strategies in global markets.
Dr. Wu's scholarly work examines economic policies, industrial upgrading through trade, and corporate responses to exchange rate fluctuations. Her publications analyze spillover effects in emerging economies and firm-level adaptations to trade regulations. Current research explores executive decision-making under import competition pressures.
She teaches courses in Statistics, Microeconomics, Corporate Finance, Investment Theory, and Portfolio Analysis. As faculty advisor for the Greyhounds Investment Fund, she guides students in applied security analysis and portfolio management.
