Oliver Schuster is a Professor at the Faculty of Interdisciplinary and Innovative Sciences at Hof University of Applied Sciences. His academic work focuses on IT-Management in healthcare, with a particular emphasis on technology acceptance, ambient assisted living, internet of medical things, and IT security. He also contributes to the Graduate School as a study faculty.
Research Interests include:
- Technology acceptance models in business and healthcare
- Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) integration
- IT security frameworks for health systems
- Digital transformation across industries
Teaching emphasizes practical, seminar-based instruction using digital enterprise simulations to prepare students for real-world applications. Prior to joining Hof University, he served as CEO of Gamma Technology, leading cloud telecommunications innovations across Europe.
