Oliver Schnyder

Oliver Schnyder is a Swiss pianist and lecturer at Kalaidos University of Music since 2016. He holds a Graduate Performance Diploma from Peabody Conservatory (2001) and has performed globally as a soloist and chamber musician. Since 2012, he has been pianist with the Oliver Schnyder Trio, and he founded the Piano District concert series in Baden (2013) and served as artistic director for multiple festivals.

His research and performance interests focus on classical piano repertoire, particularly works by Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms, with an emphasis on lyrical interpretations and chamber music dynamics. He has recorded extensively with labels like RCA Red Seal and Sony Classical.
