Oliver Froehling is an Adjunct Professor of Geography at the University of Kentucky and Director of SURCO (Servicios Universitarios y Redes de Conocimientos en Oaxaca AC), an organization linking academic research with social movements in southern Mexico. His work bridges academia and grassroots activism, focusing on indigenous autonomy, NGO dynamics, and social/environmental justice.
