Associate Professor Oliver Baumann is an experimental psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist at Bond University's Faculty of Society & Design. He joined Bond in 2018 and currently serves as Associate Dean, Learning & Teaching.

Research Focus: Dr. Baumann investigates how environments—built and natural—shape cognition, memory, and emotional wellbeing. His work integrates human behavioural testing, electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and virtual reality, with applications in workplace design, urban planning, education, and law enforcement.
Recent Publications: His 2024–2025 studies focus on ADHD interventions, police training recall methods, and environmental influences on mental health, reflecting interdisciplinary collaborations in cognitive science and public health.
Awards & Funding: Recognized with Research Excellence Awards and supported by funding from the Australian Research Council (ARC) and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
