Oliver Anwar Boolakee is affiliated with ETH Zürich as part of the Professur für Numerische Mechanik (Chair of Numerical Mechanics). His research focuses on computational mechanics, particularly lattice Boltzmann methods applied to solid mechanics, boundary condition modeling, and elastodynamic simulations. He holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU Munich (2017-2019) and a Bachelor's degree from AKAD Stuttgart (2014-2017). Professional experience includes roles at ETH Zürich (2020-present), Empa (2020), and ARRK (2017-2018). His work bridges numerical methods for solid and fluid mechanics, with recent contributions to boundary condition implementations in lattice Boltzmann schemes and acoustic emission modeling for multicopters.
Research interests emphasize innovative numerical approaches for complex mechanical systems, including linear elastodynamics, arbitrary domain simulations, and viscoelastic flow dynamics. His publications reflect advancements in both solid mechanics and fluid dynamics, demonstrating interdisciplinary application of computational methods.
