Olga Vasile is an Associate Teaching Professor in the French and Italian Department at the University of Colorado Boulder since 2015. She holds a Laurea summa cum laude in French Literature from the University of Rome, a Master's in Romance Languages from the University of Notre Dame, and is ABD (All But Dissertation) in Italian Literature from Stanford University. Her professional qualifications include certification as a high school language teacher in Europe.
Dr. Vasile has extensive teaching experience across multiple institutions, including Stanford University, University of Notre Dame, University of Reading (UK), and hybrid courses for the UK's Open University. She has also taught in adult education programs and served in Italian language/culture promotion initiatives sponsored by the Italian Foreign Office in the San Francisco Bay Area, Montréal, and Surrey (UK).
Her research interests focus on innovative pedagogical methods in language instruction, the integration of technology in foreign language classrooms, and comparative studies in French and Italian literature, culture, and cinema.
