معرفی
Olga Popovych is a Research Fellow at the Technische Universität München (TUM) under the Fellowship for Ukrainian Scientists program, hosted by Prof. Christian Große. Her project focuses on developing an ultrasound-based fouling-monitoring solution for geothermal power plants and open cooling circuits. The research involves non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, guided wave analysis, and computational simulations using software like Salvus to detect scaling and biofilm formation in energy systems.
Her work bridges materials science and energy engineering, addressing critical challenges in infrastructure maintenance and renewable energy systems. The fellowship supports interdisciplinary collaboration between her home institution, the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, and TUM’s School of Engineering and Design.
Key technical areas include wave propagation modeling, sensor optimization, and predictive analytics for industrial applications. While no specific awards beyond the fellowship are listed, her research contributes to advancing sustainable energy infrastructure through innovative monitoring technologies.
