Olga Logunova is a Researcher at King's College London, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy and King’s Russia Institute. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow since 2012 and has been a visiting lecturer at Tampere University (Finland) for the 'Health and Media' course. Her primary research focuses on the intersection of media and sociology, including digital literacy, social media listening, and the socio-cultural impact of digital platforms.
Her notable projects include 'The Historical Figures: Memes or Narratives in Social Media 2021-2023' and the Second Wave of the 'Journalistic Role Performance Project (JRP)' (2019-2023), examining global journalistic roles across media channels. She has also explored micro-influencers in socio-political processes and self-presentation strategies on Tinder.
