Dr. Olga Chuyan is an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Rivier University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She joined as a full-time faculty member in 2007 after serving as an adjunct professor at Rivier and Keene State College. Her expertise spans computational complexity, optimization theory, and game theory.

Dr. Chuyan teaches courses ranging from foundational quantitative literacy (MA 123) to advanced abstract algebra (MA 420), contributing to undergraduate and graduate mathematics education. Her research focuses on minimax algorithms for extremum problems, analytical methods, and interdisciplinary applications of computational mathematics.
As a key department member, she supports students through rigorous coursework in calculus (I-III), linear algebra, discrete mathematics, classical geometries, and mathematical statistics. Her professional background includes software engineering consultation, mathematics textbook editing/translation between English and Russian, and aviation research experience.
