Oleksandr Malyuskin

Dr. Oleksandr Malyuskin is a Senior Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast, affiliated with the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His primary research focuses on electromagnetic wave applications in sensing and communications, radar/sonar systems, and embedded systems. He is actively involved in projects such as the Decarbonisation of Maritime Transportation (PI) and EME Deep Physical Layer in an EW context (CoI).

Research Interests include microwave engineering, radar technology, wireless communication security, and environmental sensing via microwave spectroscopy. His work has led to awards like the Best Paper Award at IEEE 5G World Forum 2020.

He supervises PhD students in areas like electromagnetic sensing, radar systems, robotics, and wireless communications. Key collaborations involve DSTL and industry partners in developing innovative communication and sensing technologies.
