Ole Vinther is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Theology. His research focuses on Church history, practical theology, and the role of Christian preaching in late antique Greco-Roman contexts. He specializes in the works of Gregory of Nazianzus and explores themes of meaning-making, cultural worldview, and homiletical strategies. Vinther holds a Master’s in Practical Theology (University of Oslo) and a Master’s in Strategic Management and Economics (University of Tromsø). He served as a pastor in Norway and Denmark from 2009–2024.
