Olav Schram Stokke is Professor of Political Science at the University of Oslo and Research Professor at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute. His work focuses on international environmental governance, with specific expertise in Arctic and Antarctic politics, fisheries management, and institutional resilience under climate change. He has held leadership roles including Head of the University of Oslo's multidisciplinary International Studies bachelor program (2015-2020) and serves as a subject-area editor for political science in the Polar Journal.
