Oksana Labanova is Head of the Centre for Sciences and Lecturer at TTK University of Applied Sciences, specializing in mathematics education and e-learning technologies. She holds an MSc in Mathematics from Tallinn Pedagogical University (2004) and has been actively teaching since 2003.
Research Focus
Her research centers on mathematics education, open educational resources (OER), and e-learning systems. She investigates innovative pedagogical approaches including AI integration in education, automated assessment tools (STACK system), and hybrid learning models for STEM disciplines.
Project Leadership
Principal investigator for multiple EU-funded initiatives:
- Gate2Math: Multilingual mathematics resource library (2022-2025)
- Mathematics online learning model for engineering education (2018-2021)
- VebRa: Web application fundamentals for non-ICT specialties (2021-2022)
