Dr. Ojoung Kwon serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences at California State University, Fresno's Craig School of Business, with prior tenure as an associate professor at the University of Illinois-Springfield where he pioneered four fully online graduate MIS courses.
His academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Management Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Alabama (1991), an MBA with MIS concentration from Southern New Hampshire University (1985), and dual Electronics Engineering degrees from South Korea's Yeungnam University (M.S. 1982, B.S. 1978). Professional certifications encompass Harvard Business School's Business Analytics (2020), MIT Sloan's AI Strategy (2019), and CompTIA Security+ (recertified through 2021).
Research centers on Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity with applications in financial forecasting and enterprise systems.
