Odette Mina

Odette Mina is a Research Professor and Director of the Energy and Environmental Sustainability Laboratories (EESL) at the Pennsylvania State University. She holds a doctorate in Natural Resource Engineering and master's degrees in Environmental Engineering and Business Administration. With over 25 years of experience, she specializes in managing large-scale laboratory operations and oversees equipment contracts for multi-million-dollar facilities. Her research focuses on emerging contaminants, microplastics, estrogen dynamics, and sustainable agricultural practices. Mina has contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed articles, including seminal works on PFAS in agroecosystems and estrogen persistence in vernal pools. Her work integrates environmental engineering, ecology, and policy to address contemporary challenges in water quality and ecosystem health.

Education: PhD in Natural Resource Engineering; MS in Environmental Engineering & Business Administration.
