Oakleigh Folkes

Oakleigh Folkes is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Jiang Lab at the Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. Their research focuses on genetic, cellular, molecular, and circuit mechanisms underlying dysfunctional social and reward behaviors, with an emphasis on neuropsychiatric disorders. Folkes holds a PhD in Pharmacology (2020) and a BA in Neuroscience (2013), both from Vanderbilt University.

Research Interests:
Investigating endocannabinoid signaling pathways, amygdala-nucleus accumbens circuits, and dopamine transporter modulation in sociability and addiction. Current projects include studying Shank3 deficits in social motivation and stress-induced drug relapse mechanisms.
