ORHAN DALKILIÇ

Dr. Orhan Dalkılıç is an Assistant Professor at Bingöl University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics. He holds a PhD in Mathematics (Topology) from Mersin University (2020–2023), an MSc in Mathematics (Topology) from Mersin University (2017–2020), and a BSc in Mathematics from Marmara University (2013–2016). His academic title was granted by Bingöl University effective June 10, 2025.

His research focuses on soft set theory, decision-making systems, fuzzy logic, and their applications in medical diagnosis and uncertainty analysis. He has authored numerous articles in high-impact journals including Neural Computing and Applications, Soft Computing, and Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems. His work explores innovative approaches to decision-making under uncertainty, parameter-object interactions, and hybrid soft set theories.

Dr. Dalkılıç has received TÜBİTAK awards for international publications in 2021 and 2022. He actively contributes to academic communities through refereeing for journals like Computational and Applied Mathematics, Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, and PLOS ONE. He has led or participated in projects addressing hybrid mathematical models for uncertainty problems, prostate cancer diagnosis, and AI-supported fuzzy logic applications funded by institutions like TÜBİTAK and King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (Saudi Arabia).
