معرفی
Roseline Nussbaumer is a Full Professor at the Haute école d'ingénierie et d'architecture de Fribourg (HEIA-FR), specializing in bioprinting and applied mathematics. She leads the iPrint Institute, focusing on advanced materials manufacturing through inkjet technology. Her research integrates polymer chemistry, mechanical engineering, and digital fabrication to create functional materials responsive to environmental stimuli.
Teaching responsibilities include Numerical Mathematics for Computer Science students, Specific Mathematics for Mechanical Engineering, and Analysis courses across multiple disciplines. Her work bridges academic theory with industrial applications, particularly in gradient material design and mechanochromic systems.
Recent research emphasizes multimaterial inkjet platforms to produce smart materials that change optical properties under mechanical stress. Publications in 2024 highlight breakthroughs in polyurethane-based mechanochromic systems and voxelated matter fabrication. Collaborations involve cross-disciplinary teams from chemistry, engineering, and materials science.
Her lab develops innovative ink formulations and printing architectures, with applications in sensor technologies and adaptive surfaces. Current projects focus on expanding the range of printable smart materials and optimizing inkjet deposition precision.
