Dr Nusrat Jahan is a Lecturer in Interprofessional Education at the School of Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of New England (UNE), Armidale, NSW, Australia. She completed her PhD at UNE, focusing on early postnatal care practices in Bangladesh, and continues to contribute to academic and research initiatives in public and reproductive health.
Her research interests include:
- Gender and reproductive health
- Public health
- Interdisciplinary and interprofessional health practices
Dr Jahan teaches core units in health and social care, including HLTH101 (Information and Evidence in Health and Social Care), HLTH102 (Interprofessional Practice in Health and Social Care), HLTH103 (Communication for Health Professionals), and HLTH104 (The Context of the Health and Community Services).
