Nuria Carton de Grammont is Part-time Faculty in Art History at Concordia University's Faculty of Fine Arts, specializing in contemporary Mexican and Latin American art. Her research examines representations of space, violence, and narcotrafficking in visual culture.
Curatorial projects include exhibitions addressing environmental themes and Latin American artistic practices. Recent work explores the intersection of geography, aesthetics, and social issues in artistic production.
Publications analyze Latin American art through socio-political lenses in international journals. She directs SBC Gallery of Contemporary Art in Montreal.
