Nuri Veronika is a Lecturer and researcher at Monash University's School of Social and Political Science (Monash GPS), specializing in Politics & International Relations. She holds a PhD from Monash University (2024) and has 15+ years of cross-sector experience spanning academia, government, NGOs, and tech. Previously, she worked at Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs as a public policy analyst.
Her research focuses on women's agency in the Global South, violent extremism, and gender dimensions of security policies. Notable work includes analyzing root causes of women's involvement in extremism and critiquing policy responses through a gender lens.
