Norma Lopez is an Instructor and Assistant Coordinator for the Heritage Language Program at Arizona State University (ASU), part of the School of International Letters and Cultures. She holds a PhD in Spanish Literature and Culture from ASU, along with a master’s in Bilingual Education and another in Spanish Literature. Her research focuses on the cultural, political, and social dimensions of subordination within literature.
