Norbert Daum

Norbert Daum is a full-time Professor at the Würzburg University of Music, where he teaches trombone and leads the Department of Brass Instruments. He studied at Würzburg University of Music with his father Prof. Walter Daum and later with Prof. Martin Göß at Munich University of Music and Theater. His career includes being principal trombonist at Mainfrankentheater Würzburg (1978/79) and founding crescendo-brass, a publishing house for brass instrument music. Daum directs HfM-Brass and serves as artistic project director for the Junge Philharmonie Würzburg.
