Nora Trompeter is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the King’s Centre for Military Health Research, King’s College London, since 2022. Her research focuses on identifying risk and maintenance factors for mental health issues, with expertise in psychiatric epidemiology, adolescent development, victimization, and body image concerns. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to mental health and well-being.

- Mental Health Stigma and Treatment-Seeking Behaviors
Her recent studies explore bidirectional relationships between restrictive eating and sleep in adolescents, illness stages of eating disorders using remote technologies, and smartphone-based interventions for veterans. She has contributed to datasets addressing methodological rigor in mental health assessments.
Scientific Awards include the Centre for Emotional Health Publication Prize (2021), Faculty of Human Science Research Excellence Award (2019), and the Society for Mental Health Research Early-Career Award (2022).
She has engaged in public outreach through media collaborations, including podcasts and articles on bullying, cyberbullying, and eating disorders. Her research emphasizes translational approaches to improve mental health literacy and interventions.
