Nora Tartsay Nemeth

Nora Tartsay Nemeth is an Assistant Professor at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), affiliated with the School of English and American Studies and the Department of English Applied Linguistics. She also serves as a lecturer in the MTA-ELTE Research Group for the Teaching of Foreign Languages, a collaborative initiative between the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and ELTE.

Her academic work is rooted in applied linguistics and English language pedagogy, with a strong emphasis on drama-based learning, task-based instruction, and learner engagement strategies. She explores how creative, performance-based methods can enhance communicative competence in English as a foreign language (EFL) contexts, particularly in Hungarian primary and secondary education.
