Nora Chirikure

Nora Chirikure is a Research Fellow at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB Social Science Research Center Berlin) in the Department of Institutions and Political Inequality. She specializes in inclusive governance, social cohesion, and the role of free media in challenging government narratives.

• Education: MSc in Economics and Management Science (Humboldt University Berlin), BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Erasmus University Rotterdam) focusing on Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.

Her work examines how local institutions and collective action can address challenges related to urban commons, with current projects based in Lebanon and Zimbabwe. She also serves on the WZB Ethics Committee, contributing to institutional governance frameworks.
