Nolan Stolz

Nolan Stolz is Professor of Music at the University of South Carolina Upstate, teaching composition, music theory, popular music studies, and drum set. His creative work blends contemporary classical traditions with jazz and rock influences, producing compositions for solo instruments to orchestral ensembles like the 'Lincoln Highway Suite'.

As a scholar, he specializes in progressive rock analysis with publications on Black Sabbath, Genesis, Rush, and Frank Zappa.
