Noga Shemer, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Connecticut. Her work bridges cultural and psychological anthropology, focusing on identity, historical consciousness, and postcolonial nationalism in the Caribbean. She also contributes to pedagogical innovations in writing-intensive education.
