Njelama Sanga is a Guest doctoral student at Uppsala University's Department of Medicinal Chemistry (Pharmaceutical physical chemistry) and a PhD student at the Department of Chemistry - Ångström Laboratory (Macromolecular Chemistry). Her research focuses on the environmental implications of perfluorinated compounds interacting with plant-derived proteins.
Her work in Environmental Chemistry and Protein Chemistry addresses PFAS contamination and bioremediation strategies, particularly through chemical adsorption mechanisms on biomolecular surfaces.
Current affiliations include Uppsala University's Biomedicinskt Centrum (BMC) and Ångström Laboratory, with email contact njelama.sanga@kemi.uu.se. Research trends in her work emphasize chemical interactions for water purification applications.
