Nizar Farsakh is a part-time Lecturer at the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University, specializing in negotiations and leadership training. With over 20 years of experience across the Middle East and North Africa, he previously served as Head of Civil Society Partnerships at the Project on Middle East Democracy (POMED), where he supported Arab civil society organizations' advocacy capacities. He also directed the Palestinian Delegation in Washington D.C. and advised senior Palestinian leaders in negotiations with Israel between 2003–2008.

His research interests span negotiations, leadership development, international boundaries, Palestinian affairs, and Middle East politics. He co-founded the online leadership training platform Inspire Leadership School and frequently contributes to think tanks and media (Arabic/English) on regional issues. He sits on the board of the Museum of the Palestinian People in Washington D.C.
