Nirod Das

Nirod Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New York University's Tandon School of Engineering. His research focuses on unified field theories, electromagnetics, antenna design, and RF/microwave circuits. He is affiliated with the Center for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications (CATT), which emphasizes technology transfer and innovation.

Das holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts (1989), an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the same institution (1987), and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (1985). His academic career has spanned over three decades, with significant contributions to theoretical physics and applied electromagnetics.

His research interests include deriving fundamental electromagnetic principles from relativity, modeling galaxies and cosmic phenomena without dark matter, and advancing antenna technologies with minimal cross-polarization and leakage. His work bridges classical electromagnetism with quantum and astrophysical concepts, proposing unified electro-gravity theories to explain gravitational phenomena.

His publications span antenna design innovations, theoretical derivations of Maxwell’s equations, and cosmological models challenging mainstream dark matter paradigms.
