Ning Wang

Ning Wang is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Southern California (USC) Viterbi School of Engineering, and a Research Scientist at the Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT). She directs the Human-Centered AI Lab and serves as Chief Scientist at Curious Lab. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and intelligent tutoring systems. Key projects include the HRI-Trust initiative (developing robotic trust calibration algorithms) and the DELTA project (using virtual role-play for behavior change).

Education: B.S. in Computer Science from Hunan University; M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from Auburn University; Ph.D. in Computational Social Intelligence from USC's Information Sciences Institute. Her work bridges AI development with educational applications, emphasizing K-12 AI literacy and interactive learning experiences.
