Dr. Ning Song is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow at the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE), University of New South Wales (UNSW). She specializes in silicon solar cell efficiency, metallization, and module reliability, with over twelve years of experience across manufacturing, research, and materials supply chains. Her research focuses on advancing solar technology through innovations in passivating contacts, metallization techniques, and PV module coatings.
Education: PhD in 2015 under Prof. Martin Green. Her work integrates academic research with industrial applications, aiming to enhance solar energy's environmental and economic viability. She has authored 53 journal articles, 28 conference papers, and 1 book chapter, reflecting expertise in thin-film deposition, solar cell design, and module durability.
