Nina Rica Wium Geiker

Nina Rica Wium Geiker serves as a Guest Researcher at the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports (NEXS) within the Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen. Her research is centered in the Lifecourse Nutrition & Health group, where she investigates critical intersections between nutrition, metabolism, and health outcomes across different life stages.

Her research interests focus on prenatal nutrition interventions, particularly examining how maternal dietary patterns during pregnancy affect offspring growth trajectories and metabolic health. She has substantial expertise in body composition analysis, with numerous studies investigating adipose tissue distribution during pregnancy and its implications for maternal and child health outcomes.
