Nina Alexandersen

Nina Alexandersen is a Research Fellow and PhD candidate funded by the Research Council of Norway, affiliated with the University of Oslo's Faculty of Medicine and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. Her research focuses on the impact of quality in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) on child development, with an emphasis on mental health and socioeconomic disparities. She collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across Norway, Denmark, and Ireland.

Her academic background includes an MPhil in Health Economics, Policy, and Management from the University of Oslo. Her work bridges public health, educational policy, and developmental psychology, addressing how ECEC quality influences child outcomes and equity.
