Nimo Mukhtar Mohamud Osoble is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Department of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Biosciences, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Their research focuses on pharmacological mechanisms in metabolic and inflammatory processes, including stem cell behavior, drug interactions in IBD, and cellular metabolism regulation. Osoble holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy from NTNU (2021) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Oslo Metropolitan University (2019).
Research interests include studying how drugs like tofacitinib and budesonide influence stemness in IBD models, legumain's role in glucose/fatty acid metabolism in muscle cells, and osteoblastic-muscle cell interactions. These studies contribute to understanding metabolic pathways and drug effects in complex biological systems.
Publications span topics like IBD colonoid responses to treatment, legumain's metabolic impacts, and conditioned media effects on osteoblast-muscle cell metabolism. Osoble's work bridges pharmacology with cellular and metabolic biology, emphasizing translational research for therapeutic insights.
