Nimalan Paul serves as the Director of Innovation Entente Lab (IEL) and Assistant Professor of Intelligence Studies at Mercyhurst University. Professor Paul earned his M.S. in Applied Intelligence from Mercyhurst University, an MBA in Marketing from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research in Mumbai, India, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathidasan University in Trichy, India.
With over 17 years of private sector experience at global organizations including GE and Roche, Professor Paul bridges theoretical intelligence frameworks with practical workplace applications. His international background provides students with valuable cross-cultural perspectives and real-world insights that enhance classroom learning.
As Director of the Innovation Entente Lab, Professor Paul leads initiatives connecting academic intelligence methodologies with industry applications. His expertise spans strategic analysis, business intelligence, and the practical implementation of intelligence systems in corporate environments.
Professor Paul's teaching approach emphasizes the practical application of intelligence studies, helping students develop skills directly transferable to careers in intelligence analysis, business strategy, and competitive intelligence.
