Nils Knoth

Nils Knoth is a Research Associate at the University of Kassel's Department of Developmental Psychology (Institute of Psychology), where he has been employed since March 2022. He holds an M.Sc. (2018–2021) and B.Sc. (2015–2018) in Psychology from the University of Kassel. Previously, he worked as a research assistant in Gender/Diversity Informatics (2020–2022) and as a student assistant in Social Psychology (2017).

His research focuses on digital competencies and human-AI interaction, including:

• Digital and AI literacy development
• Hybrid intelligence systems
• Prompt engineering methodologies
• Critical evaluation of online information

He leads projects funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), including Komp-HI (interdisciplinary competency development through hybrid intelligence systems) and FAIRDIENSTE (co-design of ethical data-driven business models).
