Nils Hoffmann

Dr. Nils Hoffmann serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bonn's Department of English, American Studies, and Celtic Studies. His research focuses on U.S. foreign policy, political polarization, populism, and the impact of conspiracy theories on democratic processes. He holds academic affiliations with the North American Studies program and is based at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn campus in Bonn, Germany.

His scholarly work includes analyses of German security policy post-Cold War, geopolitical strategy, and energy geopolitics. Office hours are available online or in-person by appointment. Nils Hoffmann has contributed to interdisciplinary debates on geopolitics and security policy frameworks since 2012.
