Niloufar Alenjery

Niloufar Alenjery is a registered architect, educator, and artist at Carnegie Mellon University. She holds a B.Arch, B.Sc. in Architecture, and M.Arch from institutions in Iran and the U.S., with additional coursework at Harvard GSD. Her research explores architecture as a language of cultural memory and spatial imagination, emphasizing phenomenology and the impact of technology on human experience. She advocates for interdisciplinary pedagogy, integrating literature, philosophy, and visual arts into architectural education.

• Teaching roles include courses such as 48-105: Poiesis II (Radical Empathy in Architecture) and 48-381: Issues of Practice, focusing on professional ethics, AI tools, and societal values.
• Her creative work includes the installation “Fallen Voices of 9/11,” recognized by the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
