Nilay Kundu

Nilay Kundu serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His office is located in OLD SAC, Block C, Room No.103, Kanpur 208016.

Dr. Kundu's research program centers on theoretical physics with emphasis on fundamental aspects of:

• Classical and Quantum Gravity
• Quantum Field Theory
• String Theory and AdS/CFT Correspondence

His scholarly work contributes to advancing our understanding of theoretical frameworks that describe physical phenomena at fundamental levels, particularly exploring connections between gravity and quantum mechanics.

Dr. Kundu completed his academic training at prestigious Indian institutions, earning his PhD from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) in 2014 after completing both his M.Sc. and B.Sc. at Jadavpur University.
