Nikolaos Nikolaidis

Prof. Nikolaos Nikolaidis is Professor of Hydrogeochemical Engineering and Soil Remediation at the Technical University of Crete. His research focuses on watershed management, critical zone processes, and environmental remediation techniques.

Holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa (1987). Leads multiple EU projects including LENSES-PRIMA, eLTER-PLUS, and WaysTUP. Recipient of the Excellence in Research Award from TUC (2020).

Teaches courses in hydrology, environmental modeling, and water resources management. Supervises graduate research in hydrogeochemical processes and soil ecosystem functions.
