Nikolai Pedentchouk

Nikolai Pedentchouk is an Associate Professor at the University of East Anglia (UEA), based in the School of Environmental Sciences. He chairs the Health and Safety Executive at UEA and is a member of the Environmental Biology, Geosciences, and ClimateUEA research groups. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to climate action and environmental sustainability.

Publications highlight his expertise in stable isotope methodologies, with notable contributions to Nature on Arctic climate studies during the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum. Current PhD supervision focuses on palaeoenvironmental reconstruction and isotopic proxy development.
